Dr. Liz Dilal

Dr. Liz Dalal, PT, DPT, MFA received her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Georgia State University in 2020. She is the recipient of numerous awards in her graduate studies for excellence in academics and leadership. Liz’s research on injury risk screening tools for dancers was presented at the American Physical Therapy Association’s 2020 conference. Liz views physical therapy as a collaborative process between patient and provider, meeting patients where they are each day, listening to what’s important to them, and using evidence-based interventions to get them back to what they love doing.

Prior to starting her career in Physical Therapy, Liz worked as a college dance professor, professional modern dancer, and yoga instructor. She has taught students of all ages and abilities, incorporate, studio, and one-on-one settings. Liz received her MFA in Dance Performance and Choreography from Florida State University in 2012 and graduated summa cum laude with a BA in History from Emory University in 2008.
